Bivariate Quadratic-Cubic Designs

These levelplots show the prediction variance for I-optimal experiment designs with two continuous variables on [-1,1] for a model up to 3rd order in x1 and 2nd order in x2 with various numbers of runs.

The designs were found with N. J. A. Sloane's Gosset and plotted using Lattice graphics in R. Some excellent articles on optimal experiment designs are available at the Gosset site.

doe_quadcubic is the Gosset input.

doe2_plots.R is the R code for making the plots.
